March 18 Coca Cola’s Corporate Development and Social Contributions as Society Changes Date:2017-03-22
The CEO of Coca-Cola was recently interviewed by the Mainichi News, and current views of CEOs are no longer solely focused on profitability targets as in the past, instead today’s capitalism demands government, private enterprise and educational institutions work together to attain sustainability and maintain the corporate image and operations, so if one only considers the economic dimensions, it is difficult to concomitantly manage the threefold dimensions of the economy, environment and social aspects of modern, responsible business.

Coca Cola has been faced with the question of transforming its operations, and as Coca Cola is one of the world’s largest private firms, and has more than 770,000 employees worldwide, so creating employment opportunities is one of Coca Cola’s greatest inherent resources, while also making substantial and even massive contributions to society, so corporations and their corporate partners can achieve win-win-wins with the local public interest.
