National Taipei University of Technology Contented Leadership Lecture invites Chairman Eugene Chien to discuss Self-Leadership on the Path to Sustainable Industry

The National Taipei University of Technology General Education Center’s “Contented Leadership Lecture” series invited 13 experts with robust training and experience including Professor Jen-Shou Hsu of the Dharma Drum Institute of Liberal Arts, Chairman Bao-Sheng Wei of KGI Bank, Chairman Wen-Chi Weng of SinoPac Holdings, Chairman Ming-Chu Tan of LinkCom Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and Ting-Chuan Chen, Chairman Emeritus of Everlight Chemical, to share about leadership skills for international trends and career development fields. TAISE Chairman Eugene Chien was invited to speak on Thursday, January 4th, on the topic of “Self-Leadership on the Path to Sustainable Industry”, sharing before the assemblage of nearly 100 students on the relationship and pulsation of corporate sustainability and career development blueprints.

Chairman Eugene Chien began by introducing the Paris Agreement and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, noting that personal career development and global trends are intimately intertwined, and that through reading CSR reportage, one can readily ascertain an enterprise’s path to realizing social responsibility measures, allowing one to find the means to resolve any doubts in their career or entrepreneurial development. Chairman Chien also explained how the exemplary winners of the “TCSA Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards”can eludicate sustainability measures across the three dimensions of environmental proection, social inclusion and corporate governance. He encouraged the students to engage in lifelong learning and self-cultivation of professional knowledge and skills, so as to be able to substantively contribute to national sustainable development.
