When discussing public issues such as energy transformation and power use, if the public is more aware of the background information of the issue, it will be much more conducive to public policy promotion efforts. So the CTCI Education Foundation, in conjunction with the Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy and the Center for Corporate Sustainability jointly released the results of the “2019 Taiwan Power Usage and Energy Transformation Poll” to provide an objective and neutral view of Taiwan's energy status.

The “2019 Taiwan Power Usage and Energy Transformation Poll ”involves a survey of 19 cities and counties across Taiwan over a two day period with random phone calls sampling of persons over age 18, to ascertain Taiwan’s public awareness of power use and energy transformation issues. Of the total of 1.073 effective samples, there was a 95% confidence, and variance of 3%.
