Feng Chia University hosts the 65th CSR University Lecture analyzing CSR reportage and its benefits for new entrants to the professional working class

To ensure that university students appreciate Corporate Sustainability (CS) and sustainable development related topics and issues, the CTCI Education Foundation (CTCIEF), the Center for Corporate Sustainability (CCS), and Feng Chia University joined forces together on Wednesday, March 6, at the Feng Chia University College of Business to host the 65th CSR University Lecture with Hou-Ju Chen, CEO of Veda Inc. (CSRone), delivering the lecture along with the participation of both Chao-Chan Wu, Chairman of the Feng Chia Department of Cooperative Economics and Social Entrepreneurship and Chi-Yi Cheng, Project Manager with the Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy.

CEO Chen spoke on the theme of “Understanding CSR Reportage”, first elucidating the core precepts of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainable development (CS), for the students in attendance, and relaying the three dimensions of the spirit of social development across the environment, society and economy, while presenting lively case studies of Mos Burger and Far East SOGO CSR reportage in detailed analysis and sharing, with concomitant aspirations for the students to gain strong analytical skills for their future contributions to progress in attaining corporate sustainable development.
